Because I shoot video and am usually on the road, I rely heavily on hard drives to store my footage. I appreciate that G Technology brand of drives comes in this case that has an elastic band on the back. I tuck the cables I need for the drive in that elastic band so they are always handy. For other brand hard drives I use (such as LaCie rugged) my only choice is to keep the cable plugged into the drive and just wrap it around the drive - which doesn't stay in place and causes extra stress on the cable although sometimes I use rubber bands which is a simple enough solution if you have them around.
