6 month old baby will put her fingers in anything that accept them, will try to eat anything that fits in her mouth. China has different power sockets on one unit - and whilst safety plugs are available for the 3-pin, they are not for the 2-pin. We use the (ineffective) method of furniture blocking.

Cables rap around feet, have to crawl to plug and unplug. Problem still needs solving. Why are plugs close to a floor? Why so many power cables?
