Before
hanging the TV on the wall, they've refurnished the room and: broke the wall,
made a recess (to hide the wall mounting element) made a channel for all the
cables. No cable visible at all.

Basically, I’ve got a (home made) bottom-less console, that goes over my cables, router, speakers, airport, dust ball collections. The top of the console lifts up for servicing. An iMac serving as a TV sits on top of the console.

No cables are visible as we had them routed through the wall and under the floor into a hidden space. Nice and clean.
