Due to the limited outlet access at this corner of the kitchen, I placed the charging station on the shelf. Over the time, things are populated in the area because other related functions were added in. By now, I have iphone speakers and all the chargers stored in the same place. This corner of the kitchen has more foot traffic also because of this set up.

Milan Office Desk

This desk has a cable management compartment that positions all the cables. However when people are leaving the desk and undocking their computer, they're sometimes also required to detach the plug from the multiple socket and they leave the desk door open.
Wow, what a mess...
Milan Dedicated Space?
Submitted by Barbara Tornaghi
The desks have a dedicated space for the cable management that should be kept
closed in the intention of the design, but the large amount of cables and the convenience of having it open for plug/unplug make the desk messy.

San Diego Office + Custom Shelf for Plug Placement
Submitted by thegwen
built a wooden shelf to prop up my monitors but also to hide the cords and outlet plug. the outlet has to easy access without getting out of my seat to switch charges for multiple phones i am testing. and it is not noticeable that i live with too many wires on the desk.
will post a close up picture. it is not really thought out but good enough to get the job done. next tempt will be to have a power strip with usb ports built in for the varies usb charging devices i have, also the spacing between the power strip is a problem and i like to see about having one with an arc or circle not a strip.

just a close up for the previous picture i have submitted. like i said underneath and behind the wood board is a jumble of wires that goes like chaos or even feels like a petri dish of wires getting more tangled or more is getting added.
