I talk on the phone all the time in my car. My battery will die if I can't change it. This works well enough for me.

The additional power outlet in the center compartment is super useful. I leave my iphone charger plugged in all the time for the convenience.
Would it be nice if the USB ports are already built in there?

Some taxis (not this one) allow their customers to charge their devices in the taxi.

This is from a cab that is trying to add value for customers by providing entertainment in the car as well as increase quality of service by using in car navigation. The problem is the need to power these devices and that is solved by splitting the cigarette lighter into multiple "outlets".
