Oilcan Microphone

Oil container repurposed to hold a small microphone, which is installed in the passenger-carrying rear bed in this truck-ferry and connected to a speaker in the cab of the truck. The fare collector speaks directions into the box, telling the driver whether there are passengers getting off at an upcoming stop, if all passengers are safely seated and he may continue driving, and the state of traffic behind the driver (who unfortunately has no rear view, his mirror having been blocked by the compressed natural gas tanks installed to power the truck).
