We were looking for a way to play music in different rooms in our house. In Best Buy, all the iPod docks looked exactly the same: ugly pieces of black plastic. This light cube from iHome was much more human-feeling, and also less expensive. It's easy to move from room to room - we often move it into the kitchen to play music while we're cooking. You can turn its light off or select from a variety of settings (static color, flashing between different colors, or slowly fading between colors - our favorite). This light effect is fun and adds a little atmosphere and personality without overshadowing everything else. This cube might not be premium from a frog ID perspective, but its simple humanistic form and soft light add value to our home in terms of atmosphere, and I don't think it's like anything else on the market.
